Little Chess Mates Rating System

A rating system is the same to CHESS as the belt system is to TAEKWON-DO or any other martial arts.

A rating system is a method of tracking your progress.

Be ranked by our own rating system by one of our instructors. It prepares you for entering Little Chess Mates tournaments and local chess clubs. Our ranking system is based on the student's academic achievement of our program.

Our rating system serves as bridge between Little Chess Mates' rating and the official Elo rating used by the Chess Federation of Canada and others.

Being ranked by a Little Chess Mates instructor will put you at ease for the official rating.

With our rating system, you are able to see how you compare to others your age and what level you are at.
